Inviting Customers to Connect

Invite your customers to join Connect and starting connecting with your prospects

The time has come for you to invite your customers onto Connect.

Once your customers accept the invitation, prospects will be able to Connect with them (see what we did there?) and be able to talk to them as trusted advisors about your product.

To get started, log into your team's Commsor workspace, then select "Settings" from the lefthand bar.

Click on Collaborators.

Add your customer as a Collaborator by inserting their email and writing a personalized note, such as:

Hey Mac! Excited to have you help us. You're invited to start connecting with our prospects that you know and serve as a reference check for us. Thanks!

We highly recommend assessing their interest in serving as a referral for you ahead of time, either by asking directly on a call or via email. Example below.

Some of our customers are serving as references for our prospects. This is a great way for our prospects to talk to real customers and hear your stories before they decide to buy. Would you be up for serving as a referral?

... Great. You can expect an email from Commsor, which will invite you to set up your personal workspace. From there, we'll list you as a referral on the Connect widget on our website, which will only be visible to those prospects who have connections in common with you.

They will now receive an invitation to join Commsor as a Collaborator.

You can check the status of the invitation within your Collaborator settings - they will show as Pending until they've completed the onboarding.

Once they're signed up, go to Connect.

Navigate to the "Members" section.

Click "Add to list" and select which member you'd like to add.

If the person is already in your network as a collaborator+, they will automatically be added and now appear in the members list.

They will also now be available as users in your Connect widget.

As a reminder, your customers will only be displayed if the user has a warm relationship to them.
